A U Basketball Skills
From Dribbling to Community: The Evolution of A U Basketball Skills
Founded by Coach G, a veteran coach with 25 years of experience, A U Basketball Skills initially focused on developing young players' fundamental basketball skills. However, Coach G soon realized the program's potential extended beyond the court. Observing families on the sidelines, he saw an opportunity to foster a deeper sense of community.
This realization led to the creation of Generations in Motion, a program that transcends traditional sports instruction. It embraces a holistic approach, encouraging active participation from all family members. By creating an inclusive environment where parents, siblings, and grandparents can engage alongside young athletes, Generations in Motion fosters a deeper sense of belonging and cultivates lasting connections.
Biological Analogy:
Much like a thriving ecosystem where diverse species interact and contribute to the overall health, Generations in Motion nurtures a vibrant community through intergenerational connections. Just as pollination requires the collaborative efforts of various organisms, the program encourages active participation from all members, creating a dynamic and supportive environment where everyone can grow and flourish.
We believe in fostering a positive and encouraging atmosphere where families of diverse backgrounds can learn, grow, and have fun. We emphasize understanding, teamwork, sportsmanship, and respect for all.
We're not just about sports.

Simulation Demonstration Events
An opportunity to play our way.
Come see how we do it.
Simulation is a technique used to give able-bodied individuals a temporary experience of a disability. This can help them gain empathy and understanding of the challenges faced by people with disabilities.
